Why sell at an auction?
There are many reasons people choose to sell at our live auction. Most estate auctions happen when downsizing a home or when a relative is deceased and the family needs to liquidate assets. Sometimes a person wishes to sell a collection because they would rather have cash or they no longer have the space.

Why buy at an auction?
Many times at our auction you will find well-built antique furnishings like grandma used to have. Everyone knows "they don't make 'em like they used to". Or you may find brand new items that fit your lifestyle. Sometimes people buy because it brings back precious memories. Others buy furniture, appliances, dinnerware, and other useful things to furnish their home. Some buy because they want to add to their special collection or as gifts. And still others buy for value to re-sell.

What type of items should I expect to find?
Every week is different. You may find antique and/or new furniture. Large appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, air conditioners and freezers. Yard items such as lawn mowers, snow blowers, weed whackers, wheel barrows, saws, shovels, patio furniture, and gas grills. Electronic items such as computers, TV's, stereos, speakers, video game consoles. Antique as well as newer household items, glassware, pottery, small appliances, military items. Soft lines like collectible coins, figures, 14kt and 10kt gold jewelry, diamonds and gemstones, watches, new and gently used clothing. Vintage and newer toys. We sell anything someone might have at their house, from useful everyday things to treasures that have been stored for years!

If I scratch my nose, does that mean I bought it?
No! All bidders must register and will be given a card with their bidder number on it. When you want to bid on the item, just hold your card up and the auctioneer will recognize you. Ours is a family friendly auction with a relaxed atmosphere.
